Day +51: L'artiste

Tonight is picture night. First up is Keith’s art project from last week that I hadn’t seen until I looked on the door of his room today. It reminds me of the work of the well known artist Keith Haring that draws and sculpts stick figures in primary colors. Here are a couple of links - you can decide for yourselves...

Next is a frog that Keith produced at art class today out of wood, glue and paint. I think he was particularly pleased with the results of this effort.

Finally, a picture of the artist himself, searching for inspiration for his next artwork as he plays Pokemon on his Nintendo DS.

Hey, inspiration works in mysterious ways…….

Wow, love the artwork, Keith! It rocks, especially the great colors. I am sending my blog address with my identity so you can see my art too, though I am still working on the fine art of actually posting pictures! I got approved to visit Keith's own page but did something wonky and can't get myself in there - but at least you are sharing here! We are pulling for you, and find you an inspiration every day.

Keith, the 4 square art of dancing people looks like something that should hang in a gallery. Hey, I'd get a poster of it any day. Jamie says hi, he's right here bothering me so he can get back on to gossiping with his MySpace pals. myspace.com/jgboudreau

Keith, I am most impressed with your art work. I think you are a budding artist. Have you always been this creative or this a result of the chemo, or your BMT--a new Keith? Keep up the good work.

God Bless,
